An E means that you have not understood the requirements of the project, have not put it effort and have not really done all the work required by yourself and you need assistance from a teacher or another student. An A means that you have completely understood the project and done it to a sophisticated and comprehensive standard and have known the requirements and put it maximum effort.

2. Name 3 areas in the rubric in which you had difficulties in.

A difficulty in the rubric which I had was “A sophisticated discussion & interpretation of the play”. Another was, “A sophisticated analysis of his use of language with extensive examples”. And the last one, Demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of his themes and characters”.

It was the time in which Queen Elizabeth reigned and is referred to as the Golden Age in English history. It was the peak of literature and English poetry. This was the time in which William Shakespeare flourished and got up to his full potential, writing several plays and other literary works. At this time Shakespeare was really significant. This period in time was very fascinating, with the most reputable and famous rulers. In this time women were granted the right to vote, get into politics. The men and women who were upper class at the time were concerned about fashion, they had different hair styles, make-up, jewellery etc.

 The Globe Theatre

The Globe Theatre was located in London and was built in 1599 by The Lord Chamberlain’s men, but a fire destroyed it in 1613. Shakespeare and other 3 men owned shares of the theatre. Each person with 25% of the total amount. The theatre was used for acting out plays and other various things, when a performance of Henry The Eighth was on, it caught fire and got burnt down, though another one got built in the near future.

The King’s Chamberlain Men

The Chamberlain men were the company in which Shakespeare worked as an actor and writer. This was mainly his whole career. It was founded in the Elizabethan time when Queen Elizabeth reigned. The company came out to be one of the most reputable and famous playwright and acting company at the time.

My Group’s Play-Romeo & Juliet

Romeo & Juliet is a play about love and tragedy. When 2 lovers, are born to be with each other and the only thing keeping them apart is  family feud. When we modernised it make it a fun and 21st century gig, it made it a lot easier to understand and a lot more interesting to watch. It involved the same basis of the 2 lovers but with a modern twist, where people hesitate to get married, when people are definitely not what they really are an when the play is hilarious with a few little jokes here and there rather than the stuck up original version.

The other side to it is really even not the same, with the tragedies being made fun and still leaving the effect of death. Slapstick humour is also used in the play we interpreted.

Tragedies, Comedies & Histories

Shakespeare has written several plays with such sophisticated language use and amazing stories. In his ventures through being a playwrighter he has used various themes such as Tragedies, Comedies, Histories. When you put tragedies into perspective, it really has a strong message of love, hate and death. Some tragic plays he wrote were; Anthony & Cleopatra, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth and many more.

Comedy, Shakespeare was very strong in this category, he wrote the most plays in this section. It really had humorous scenes and an interesting story. He wrote the most plays here, some include; A Comedy Of Errors, As You Like It, The Merchant Of Venice, Love’s Labours Lost and many more.

History, Shakespeare also starred as a strong contender in this section. Writing plays Henry IV through to Henry VIII, King John & Richard II & III. It is not one of his most entertaining but you can learn a lot.

Relevance Of Shakespeare’s Plays To 21st Century

I think that today’s world has a lot of things that can relate to the Shakespearean time, characteristics and the ways of humans can sometimes be similar. The flaws of humans can also be linked, the stories of hate and death to others and even betrayal. Shakespeare’s plays show different view points which the modern times can reflect back to, such as love, lust, greed, hate and many more.

Typical Features of All Shakespeare Plays

All Shakespeare plays have features that always stick. Depending on the type of play it is, whether comedy or tragedy, there will be a list of things which will be there such as, some scenes to introduce and get to know the characters, there will be a meaning to it and always have different roles- Having characteristics of love, hate, betrayal etc.

1. He was involved in space research to do with stars and galaxies, when he stated his law…The space world got very interested in his work and now he is very into the universe and it’s other elements.

2. The telescope Hubble created was used very effectively to take pictures and view distant stars and galaxies, right here from earth.

3. The telescope is approximately above Algeria and Niger. The telescope keeps moving to other locations.

4. Hubble’s law- the farther there are the stars and galaxies, the faster they are receding away from us. This is then supported by the Hubble’s Constant- H=v/d [v]- Velocity [d]- Distance

THE BIG BANG-Journal2

1. -Walter Adams is interested in the Big Bang Theory and he was a contributor. He worked on the topic about solar spectroscopy. He was able to demonstrate that spectra could be used to determine whether a star was a giant or a dwarf.

- Ralph Alpher, he discovered and investigated a subject that came to be known as Big Bang nucleosynthesis. Nucleosynthesis is the explanation of how more complex elements are created out of simple elements.

- Robert Dicke, He made measurements of solar oblateness which were useful in understanding the perihelion precession of Mercury’s orbit. This had some how helped in the Big Bang Theory.

Firstly, NASA is undertaking a mission, why would they do so?

I think that they would go forward with this mission because they are curious for scientific reasons and for reasons for the public to know tha if there is really any life on Mars…

-What will they find?

I would geuss that the PheoniX would find clues and other elements that will lead them to something amazing. The PeoniX will find life, Extra-Terrestrial lifeform which has been living there for millions of years, and has not been discovered yet.

-Should we be researching other planets?

I think we should, we should not become very self-adhered and selfish, we mut search and find…There may be something out there that can really rationalise human life on Earth.

some things i would like to state…..

1. Our universe is a vast and seemful place. Anything can be found in this forest!

2. We should spend more money and time on the universe, instead of money on weapons and other polluting and harmful things.
